I’m Leticia Miranda, a journalist with 10 years covering retail, consumerism, and e‑commerce for NBC News and BuzzFeed News, including a year and a half as a columnist for Bloomberg Opinion.

After 13 years in New York, I escaped to Mexico City, where I’m continuing my work on securities investigations and exploring stories about tech and retail in Latin America. Though, I have to say California and New York City will always be home.

I love digging into research, asking questions, and telling the stories behind business and consumer trends. I’m also aiming to write corporate content in the future.

Outside work, I’m a serious pet mom to a Chihuahua mix named Chuy and a tuxedo cat named Luna, an amateur vegan baker, and way too invested in internet subcultures (ask me about “eggs by Toya” TikTok).
